Another gem in Wattayah Private School’s crown! Wattayah Private School has won successive second time second prize sponsored by Ministry of Education and SHELL For its outstanding performance in ROAD SAFETY AWARENESS PROGRAM.
Principal Mr. Karim Baksh Al Baslushi honored by presenting the trophy by his Excellency the Minister of Education on Monday 10th of December 07.

Wattayah Private School - both the branches of Wattayah and Amerat jointly organized Road Safety Awareness program for their students on 1st November, 2007. In Qurm Natural Park, the awareness program was kicked off by Principal Mr. Karim Baksh Al Balushi.

The overwhelming response by students and their parents was remarkable. The 3 hour program was covered by traffic and road safety awareness information in both Arabic and English languages, mock roads, traffic signals, pedestrian crossings, emergency and first aid information.
Principal Mr. Karim Baksh Al Balushi, Vice Principals, Teachers and staff members of Wattayah Private School told to follow the ROP’s road safety rules. Parents and the future drivers ‘students’ asked to abide with the road safety laws.

The message was loud and clear for the young citizens of Oman, the major cause of accidents is over-speeding and negligence. So, it is responsibility of every citizen to follow the traffic rules for their own and others safety.

Last but not least, Wattayah Private School thanks Ministry of Education, Director of Private Schools and all parents, without their support all these achievements would have not possible.
